ISOLATED ELDERLY SOCIAL & PRINTING

Isolated Elderly

Isolated elderly individuals often face significant challenges due to loneliness, limited social interaction and reduced access to support. This final project within my studies aimed to tackle and bring awareness to the matter.

BEING REMEMBERED

TACKLING LONELINESS

CARE HOMESTo help combat this community programs, regular check-ins and technology-based solutions like virtual gatherings or social platforms can be crucial in fostering connection. Additionally, creating spaces for intergenerational interaction or supporting caregivers can also help reduce feelings of isolation and improve overall well-being.

* ALL Information are from 2021

B2B MATERIALSThis edition aims to share the stories and experiences of elderly individuals facing loneliness and isolation. Targeted at a younger audience, it encourages taking the initiative to visit an elderly person, whether a relative or someone in the community to help reduce feelings of isolation. All information and interviews have been collected from Hawthorn Green care home.
