Accor - Smart Searching Tool

A Re-design of Accor’s employee platform to provide access to insights, staff perks and tools that improve engagement.

The new platform enhances the overall employee experience by streamlining access to resources, encouraging participation through personalised content and fostering a stronger sense of connection across the organisation.

THE TARGET AUDIENCEThe platform is designed for staff, employers and not just researchers. This means the information presented should cater to a wide range of professional backgrounds and levels of technical understanding. It’s therefore essential not only to portray accurate and reliable data but also to ensure that it’s visually clear, engaging and intuitive to interpret.

The interface should use accessible language, concise summaries and visual elements - such as graphs, charts and infographics that communicate insights quickly without overwhelming the user. Consistency in design and layout also plays a vital role in helping users navigate the platform easily.

EVERYDAY USABILITYSince the audience may include decision makers, managers and administrative personnel, the platform should highlight actionable insights and key takeaways rather than raw data alone. OBJECTIVE

To re-create Accor’s employee platform for every hotel in the UK.
ROLE
Led the designs for a fully functional dashboard homepage and first few pages of live charts together with the data scientist team.
RESULTS

62.2% increase in employee engagement, 22.5% benefit increase, larger profile use and a higher positive index.
