Froggy Approved

Froggy Approved is an apparel startup focused on young streetwear, designed to capture a bold and playful aesthetic. Below are some of the early designs for the brand’s public launch, showcasing the visual style and creative direction that define the collection.

KEEPING A HIGH ENERGY




FROG AS THE MASCOT
Using a frog as the core of the brand identity presented an opportunity to develop a playful mascot that could be featured across various materials, including the logo.

However, because the target audience consisted of teenagers and young adults, the design needed to capture their energy, personality and cultural influences. The challenge was to balance the fun, quirky nature of the mascot with a modern streetwear aesthetic that felt authentic, bold and relevant to today’s youth culture.

FRIENDLY ILLUSTRATIONS & GRAPHICS
The use of friendly, illustrative scenes of frogs served as a universal visual language that the audience could easily connect with. Through a combination of playful illustrations, short videos and apparel designs, the brand expressed a consistent personality, fun, quirky and full of energy. Each piece of content brought the mascot to life, from animated clips showcasing its charm to apparel prints that turned it into a wearable statement. These creative elements not only captured the spirit of youth culture but also helped foster a sense of community and identity among fans of the brand. Fun, vibrant and relatable - the visuals embodied the comfort and creativity that FA stands for.

Frogs also hold a special meaning for the founders of FA, inspiring them to integrate purpose into the brand. As part of their mission, they pledged to donate a portion of their profits to WWF, to support wildlife preservation.

FINAL OUTCOMES

OBJECTIVE

Develop a playful and culturally relevant brand identity for Froggy Approved that resonates with a young, streetwear-focused audience while highlighting the brand’s purpose and personality.
ROLE
Designed FA’s logo, brand style and a cohesive visual system - including illustrations, animations and apparel designs - to express the brand’s fun, energetic character across all materials.
RESULTS

Delivered a distinctive and relatable visual identity that strengthened brand recognition, engaged the target audience and reinforced Froggy Approved’s mission-driven image.
